Every Christmas tree has its own story! Some are tall and fluffy, some are short and sturdy, and each one has a special scent and personality. Here, you can learn all about the different kinds of trees we grow and sell — where they come from, what makes them unique, and how to take care of the one you picked. So go ahead, grab your tree’s name tag, and meet your new holiday friend!

🌟 Noble Fir

  • 🏔️ Where it grows: The cool mountains of Oregon and Washington – yours is from Oregon!

  • 🌿 Needles: Blue-green, soft, and evenly spaced. Great for hanging ornaments

  • 💪 Branches: Very strong and sturdy

  • 👃 Smell: Fresh and woodsy. Smells like the forest

  • 🎁 Fun fact: It’s called “noble” because it stands tall and proud like a king of trees!

❄️ Fraser Fir

  • 🏡 Where it grows: North Carolina, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and more

  • 🌿 Needles: Dark green on top and silvery underneath

  • 💪 Branches: Strong and angled upward, which hangs ornaments perfectly!

  • 👃 Smell: Has the classic “Christmas” scent

  • 🎁 Fun fact: The Fraser Fir is often chosen for the White House Christmas Tree!

🎅 Douglas Fir

  • 🏞️ Where it grows: Pacific Northwest, Michigan, and Pennsylvania

  • 🌿 Needles: Soft, shiny, and full. Makes the tree look fluffy and round

  • 👃 Smell: Sweet and citrusy, like oranges and pine

  • 🌟 Look: Bushy and bright green

  • 🎁 Fun fact: One of the most popular Christmas trees in North America!

🌲 Balsam Fir

  • 🏞️ Where it grows: Canada and the northeastern United States

  • 🌿 Needles: Dark green and soft - never prickly!

  • 👃 Smell: Sweet and spicy - one of the best Christmas scents ever

  • 🌟 Look: Symmetrical and full, with strong branches

  • 🎁 Fun fact: Often used to make Christmas wreaths because it smells so good!

💙 Blue Spruce
• 🏔️ Where it grows: Native to the Rocky Mountains in the U.S.
• 🌿 Needles: Stiff and sharp, with a beautiful silvery-blue color
• 👃 Smell: Fresh and crisp, like mountain air
• 🌟 Look: Dense and perfectly shaped — a classic Christmas centerpiece
• 🎁 Fun fact: Its striking blue needles make it one of the most photographed Christmas trees!

🏔️ Cook Fir

  • 🏔️ Where it grows: Canada and the northeastern United States

  • 🌿 Look: Tall, slim, and elegant with shiny green needles

  • 👃 Smell: Looks like a Fraser Fir but smells like a Balsam Fir!

  • 🎁 Fun fact: Cook Firs are a hybrid between Fraser Firs and Balsam Firs

  • ❌ Needles stay on! Doesn’t drop them easily. Great for long-lasting trees

  • 👃 Smell: No smell, hypoallergenic!

  • 🎁 Fun fact: A favorite Christmas tree in Europe because it’s beautiful and tidy!

🎄 Scotch Pine (or Scots Pine)

  • 🎄 Scotch Pine (or Scots Pine)

  • 🌍 Where it grows: Europe, Asia, and across North America

  • 🌿 Needles: Long, bright green, and grow in pairs

  • 💪 Branches: Strong and hold heavy ornaments

  • 🍂 Needles: Stay on even when the tree dries out

  • 🎁 Fun fact: One of the first trees grown on Christmas tree farms in the U.S.!

☃️ Flocked Trees

  • ❄️ What it is: A real tree covered in fluffy white “snow”

  • 🌈 Look: Like it just came out of a snowy wonderland!

  • ✨ Bonus: We use Blue Spruce trees for our flocked trees since they have some of the strongest branches!

  • 💧 Care: Keep real flocked trees watered! Flocking can dry them out faster

  • 🎁 Fun fact: The white “snow” makes lights and ornaments sparkle extra bright!
